Jesse Warren For Village Trustee
As a village resident on David Whites Lane and a Southampton Village small business owner for the last seven years, I am committed to making a positive difference for the local community.
Over the last several weeks, given some of the recent news and my love for Southampton, I have decided to run for the position of Village Trustee. Because I entered the race late in the game, I was not permitted to add my name to the ballot, but this does not stop me from being a write in candidate.
On June 16th or before with your absentee ballot, I ask you to write my name in, Jesse Warren, to help elect me as Southampton Village Trustee.
In 2010, I opened a store called TENET, a men's and women's clothing and lifestyle store at 91 Main St. During this past Memorial Day weekend, I opened a second store at 95 Main St, directly adjacent to the Golden Pear. I have worked extremely hard in a very competitive retail and seasonal landscape to make this business work, and I would like to bring this same level of commitment and work ethic to the Village of Southampton to work directly with the new mayor on local initiatives.
I also bring to the table a level of financial experience, as prior to launching TENET in Southampton, I worked as an investment banking analyst as well as for a private equity firm investing in growing companies.
I received my degree in Economics from Brown University and graduated cum laude in 2004. During that time, I also spent a year studying Economics and Management at Oxford University in England.
I am an avid runner, enjoying daily runs from Wickapogue Rd down to Coopers Beach, and I am a member of the Southampton Village Chamber of Commerce.
